Hazardous Waste Guidelines

Hey there, you’ve come to the right place to learn what can and can’t go in our roll-off dumpsters.

If you have any questions, call us at 765-337-6747 BEFORE putting any item(s) in one of our dumpsters. At A+ Dumpsters, we want to ensure the safe and responsible disposal of all waste materials.

Please note that certain items cannot be placed in our dumpsters, as they are hazardous or require special handling. These include:

  • Batteries
    • No vehicle batteries
  • Asbestos
  • Harmful Chemicals (Pesticides, Freon, lacquers, etc.)
  • Flammable Liquids (Motor oils, fuel, etc.)
  • Paint (liquid)
    • Paint must be completely dried out before being put in a dumpster
  • Tires
  • Fluorescent Light Bulbs
    • Can be put in a dumpster if they are broken
  • Medical Waste
  • Aerosol Cans
    • Can be put in a dumpster if a hole has been punctured in the bottom of the can
  • Animals
  • Appliances
  • Computers and Televisions

Please be aware that hazardous materials are regulated differently based on your country, state, county, and city. If you’re unsure about what can or can’t go in the dumpster, please call us at 765-337-6747.

*If any of these hazardous materials are found in a dumpster, we will charge an additional fee of $150 and the customer will be responsible for removing the hazardous materials.

Due to weight restrictions (e.g., concrete or dirt), only 15 yard roll-off dumpsters are available for rental.
